14 students of I BA English visited SUMAN Rehabilitation Centre as part of the department's extension activities on 20 September 2019. Apart from interacting with the members of SUMAN, the students also undertook to market umbrellas produced by the members. 

Students of I MA English performed an enactment of Mahesh Dattani's play Tara on 19 September 2019.

The annual PG Students' National Seminar, Con-Texts 2k19, was conducted on 1 March 2019 in the Mother Veronica Hall. Dr. Janaky Sreedharan, University of Calicut, delivered a keynote address on this year's theme, "Revisiting the Classics", which was followed by paper presentations by PG students from various institutions across the country.
